One of our most popular sellers, this cotton shopper bag is exclusive for Surgeons’ Hall Museums displaying an image from De Humani Corporis Fabrica (Of the Structure of the Human Body) by Andreas Vesalius (1555) and the Museum Logo.

This print belongs to a set of books on human anatomy written by Andreas Vesalius written between 1539 and 1543 while he was a Professor of Anatomy at the University of Padua, Italy. The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh owns two reprints from 1604 and 1725 of the original (published 1543) and a selection of the drawings.
